Private placement life insurance

Private placement life insurance policies are insurance policies in which the client contributes existing investments (investment funds or direct investments) to an insurance company’s portfolio as reserve stock, thus obtaining additional risk cover for the event of death. These products are also called wrappers, because the insurer’s existing portfolio is wrapped in actual fact.
