Appeal

The civil law appeal (appellation) is an ordinary legal remedy. The aim is not only to improve errors made by the lower court in factual or legal matters, but to reach a completely new decision in the legal dispute by continuing and renewing the hearing and with the fundamental admissibility of new means of attack and defence.
