Rating

A system of letters or symbols which condenses complex data material in a simple manner and is used as an aid for making decisions relating to the selection of investment products. Various international companies are active in the area of fund rating. The most well known are Morningstar, Standard & Poor’s, Lipper and FERI Trust.
