Plea

The plea serves, like the plea, to defend a right that has been asserted. With an objection, the debtor presents facts that are contrary to the creditor’s right. A distinction can be made between facts that prevent the right and facts that set aside the right. The judge must consider such facts ex officio as soon as they are included in the subject matter of the case.
