Interruption of the limitation period

The interruption of the limitation period consisting in an act of the creditor (debt collection, plea of defences, filing of a petition in bankruptcy, summons before a judge of the peace) or of the debtor (payment of interest, recognition, security) and renders ineffective the commenced but not yet completed limitation period, so that it begins anew.
