Poor performance has a negative effect on sales and on the image of the fund management and the custodian bank. Poor or incorrect advice by funds brokers, breaches of regulations with corresponding publicity, fund management is subject to the regulations in the Money Laundering Act if it is managing share accounts or making direct sales.
