Emergency ordinance

The emergency decree is a statutory ordinance. In a state of genuine emergency of the State and in the case of apparent impossibility, the Government immediately takes legislative decisions in the form of provisional orders. In the case of any emergency ordinance, the legislative authority must be able to comment on it in a second step and decide on the facts of the emergency ordinance. Federal Council emergency ordinances were used, for example, in the context of the COVID 19 pandemic.
