Absolute right

The absolute right guarantees that its holder has exclusive, legally protected dominion over a certain legal asset, which must be respected by everyone. This includes rights in rem, intellectual property rights and personal rights. Third parties must refrain from any interference with the rights of domination. The entitled party can demand the restoration of the lawful state.
